    Why choose Thomaston Hospice?

We’re glad you asked! We offer In Home Care, Nursing Facilities
    and 24 Hour Nurse Coverage.

Lindsey Matthews is celebrating 5 years this month with us.

Lindsey is not only our Community Relations manager, managing the relationships between our medical community, our office and the families we care for. She is currently the Chair Elect for the Thomaston Upson Chamber of Commerce Board and serves on various committees with the Chamber. Lindsey, born and raised in Thomaston is married to Judson and they have two children Warren and Jackson. Lindsey stated “Since beginning my career in hospice I have grown not only in my career but also in my Faith. My passion for hospice care was heightened at the beginning of the pandemic when my Daddy was hospitalized and passed away without my family and me by his side. I am with patients and families on a daily basis and I was not given the opportunity to be with my Daddy when he needed me most. I am thankful that some of the rules/regulations are being altered so that family can see their loved ones in a hospital or SNF setting during their final days. As hard as death can be, there really is comfort and peace knowing that in Hospice the patient is surrounded with those they love most.”

    Dana Evans

our office manager is celebrating 11 years at Thomaston Hospice this month

Dana is an integral part of Thomaston Hospice and handles all things in our office. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and especially her son Ethan. One of her greatest joys is being outside (especially on a body of water) and attending Christ Chapel Community Church. She often reminds us that life is precious and we are not promised tomorrow. Dana enjoys focusing on relationships as she feels God has blessed her with people in her path for a reason.

Hospice Provides What Americans Want at the End of Life

“It’s hope and more…. More than traditional healthcare- its providing solutions for difficult times when hope is in question, it’s being close in a time of fear, it’s a friend with time to share, it’s laughter in the midst of tears, it’s dignity…it’s humanity…it’s what we do. It must be love…“
